The Bunny Sanctuary at Tranquility Trail Fund has been established to build a sanctuary for homeless bunnies. Tranquility Trail Animal Rehabilitation is a new organization dedicated to helping animals with behavioral or trust issues. The Bunny Sanctuary at Tranquility Trail will be a place for the bunnies who are having a difficult time finding a forever home. Some bunnies have a more difficult time finding a home due to a number of reasons. Some have special medical needs, some are older. Some have a difficult time due to their color like white bunnies with ruby eyes and black bunnies. Some have come from very abusive situations and fear human contact. We work with these bunnies on a daily basis to overcome their fears and eventually feel safe with human contact.
The Sanctuary will allow each bunny to have a large indoor area with access to an outdoor play area to call his/her own until that special someone comes along. There will be no cages. Each bunny's area will have enough room so they can run and play, lots of toys to play with, tents and tunnels to rest in, lots of hay, fresh vegetables and healthy treats, etc. It is our goal to provide the bunnies the best possible life until hopefully one day they find their forever family. If they don't find that special person we want the bunnies who spend their lives at the sanctuary to feel loved and have a wonderful life as part of "our family".
One hundred percent of all donations will go directly to building the Sanctuary. We are in the process of building our web site for Tranquility Trail and will post as soon as it is active!
